I became a somatic therapist after working at a rape crisis center, where I realized that regular talk therapy wasn’t enough to help people truly heal. I saw clients doing all the “right” things and still feeling stuck - and I recognized parts of myself in that too. That’s what led me to somatic work: learning how the body holds the stories that words can’t always reach. My approach is gentle, body-based, and rooted in curiosity. I care deeply about creating a space where you don’t have to perform healing, you just get to be human.
As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), I blend SE with trauma-informed approaches to help you reconnect with your body’s capacity to feel safe and at ease. Starting January 2026, I’ll also integrate somatic touch - a gentle, consent-based method that supports healing from early developmental trauma.
Our first session is about slowing down and getting to know you - what’s been happening, what you’ve tried, and what you’re hoping for. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and grounded, so you leave feeling a little more at ease and knowing you don’t have to carry it all alone.
