Welcome! I’m Alec (he/him). I strive to create a safe and open place for people of all identities to be able work collaboratively towards healing and self-discovery. There’s no “magic wand” that works perfectly for everyone in therapy, so my goal is to work with you to figure out what works best for YOU specifically. I specialize in working with children to adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, relational issues, and grief. To guide my work I utilize culturally sensitive and trauma-informed.
I blend different types of therapy when working with clients: ACT, DBT, person-centered, IFS, among others. I tailor my approach to the individual to make sure the support is correct for you and your needs. I want to help you connect your body, mind, and emotions, helping you understand the truly amazing person that you are.
Every session you will find kindness, some humor, and support in a judgement free space. Therapy is hard work, but you won’t be doing it without support.
