My approach to therapy begins with creating a safe and welcoming space in which I can get to know my clients as people. I work collaboratively with them to explore their challenges and difficulties, as well as their joys and successes. I believe that healing happens in supportive relationships. I enjoy building such connections with clients to support them working towards becoming the version of themselves they want to be.
My approach to therapy is primarily relational and psychodynamic. I also integrate body focused mindfulness into my practice. I believe that every individual client is unique, and I shape my approach to each client’s comfort and needs. I believe that each client’s uniquely intersectional identity forms an essential context for their wellbeing.
I have experience working with adults around including trauma, anxiety, depression, body image, and relationship challenges. I have experience working with survivors of sexual violence, interpersonal violence, and child abuse. I also enjoy working with current and former athletes.
