Ethel Richard-Peterson, LCSW Ethel Richard-Peterson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas who has been practicing since 1982. She has a Master's Degree in Social Work. Ethel sees each client as a unique individual with strengths and areas they seek to enhance. She listens to client's expressed concerns. She has spent many years counseling clients regarding death and dying, substance abuse, and chronic/acute medical conditions. In her spare time, Ethel enjoys music, being around water, and art.

I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and their families who are dealing with a variety of behavioral health, alcohol and drug abuse issues. My experience has shown me that by changing unhealthy patterns, expressing fears and concerns and taking gentle risks, it is possible to live a satisfying life regardless of what or how long your struggle. I use a combination of techniques depending on issues presented and we will work together on both short and long term goals.
