My experience includes working in Private Practice settings and Veteran Mental Health/Rehabilitation facility. Additional experience has been gained by working in adolescent residential treatment, and intensive outpatient. Mary is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that the only limits we have in life are the limits we place on ourselves. Truly the sky is the limit! One of the first things Mary will do is to focus on a relationship building that the client and the therapist must build. Mary uses several types of therapy, but narrows down the best combination/program depending on the client. Therapies used include cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Mindfulness and Psychotherapy. Richland Oaks Counseling Center (ROCC) is a non-profit clinic with offices in Richardson and McKinney. We offer a full spectrum of services including psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings. ROCC also offers a range of psychological testing services including assessments of intelligence, personality, learning disorders and giftedness, ADD/ADHD, Disability and Rehabilitation Service assessments, and assessments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of other mental health concerns.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor with over 30 years' experience. I have worked in residential, outpatient and private practice. The first half of my career I worked with adolescents and their families and later went on to work primarily with adults.
