I believe that your emotional well-being is the centerpiece of a healthy life, and that we can work together to help you to get through your challenges and achieve your goals. I am a licensed master social worker and have experience helping clients address a range of concerns including, adjusting to life transitions, substance abuse, relationship issues, aging, grief/loss, work-life balance, and more. My approach is client centered and collaborative.

I have over 50 years experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. I am certified in distance counseling and TN law now requires insurance coverage. I work with anxiety disorders, including panic attacks, PTSD, and phobias; depression and bipolar disorders; all kinds of substance abuse disorders; parenting problems; marital problems and couples counseling, including LGBT issues. I am retired from the U.S. Army, and am familiar with the problems of being in both military and law enforcement professions.

We work with clients in-person at our office in East Brainerd, virtually via phone or video, and outside in the beautiful forests of TN via ecotherapy sessions. I am a Masters Level therapist with 17+ years experience. I work with older children through senior adults, marriage/family/parenting issues, and mental health disorders, such as Depression and Anxiety.
