I have over 50 years experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. I am certified in distance counseling and TN law now requires insurance coverage. I work with anxiety disorders, including panic attacks, PTSD, and phobias; depression and bipolar disorders; all kinds of substance abuse disorders; parenting problems; marital problems and couples counseling, including LGBT issues. I am retired from the U.S. Army, and am familiar with the problems of being in both military and law enforcement professions.

My ideal clients are adults (ages 25-38) struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, mild depression, and phase of life changes. My clients are navigating new chapters in their lives, including career changes, dating/marriage relationships, and changing family dynamics. They are motivated for change and open to feedback and alternative perspectives. They are seeking a telehealth-only therapist for added scheduling flexibility, confidentiality, and transportability.

I am a firm believer that the client is the expert when it comes to their life and I am just here as support to help them work through their challenges. I mostly work with adult clients struggling with mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma, or those in need of stress management skills. I believe that every client is different and we will work together to create a treatment plan that works best for your goals and needs.

My work as a counselor focuses on helping individuals use the strengths they already possess to enact positive change within their lives. I firmly believe that as people, we possess the powers within us to solve almost any problem that life throws at us. Sometimes, as the result of things we encounter in life, be it: trauma, messages learned in childhood, patterns of thought that are no longer needed, grief, or other difficult life experiences, we have trouble finding the path to the answers within us. As a counselor, I feel privileged to help people find the paths to the answers they seek.

Justin Hall is a licensed professional counselor with a mental health service provider designation and over a decade of experience in the helping professions. He is a Knoxville native, and he obtained his Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Tennessee. Justin has been a successful psychotherapist in outpatient, hospital, residential and crisis settings; providing services to individuals and couples. He is experienced with and is absolutely driven in helping his clients address depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Justin writes letters for emotional support animals.

I am Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee. My areas of focus include counseling for adolescents and adults experiencing trauma-related behaviors and symptoms, substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, parenting, and relationship issues. VIRTUAL VISITS-Telehealth. We specialize in sessions via the internet on high encrypted, Hipaa Compliant systems (similar to FaceTime, Skype, etc.) It allows for same day sessions for clients who are not able to make it into one of our physical locations. Clients can use their phones, tablets, laptops, and PC's. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the areas of depression, infertility, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues/boundaries, and grief. I am an advocate for those I work with, empowering them to find strength within themselves to become successful independently. However, I also enjoy problem solving and supporting self-determination. I am a realist, meaning that I do not expect that life will become easy or happiness will be immediately achieved, but I also feel nothing is insurmountable. I work tirelessly to improve the lives of the individuals and couples who see me because this is my passion.
