When we live in a way that is unbalanced, or that leaves out certain parts of our personality, it can lead to a sense of despair or alienation. So one goal of psychotherapy is to identify and include the parts of your personality that have been excluded.
I would describe myself as related, grounding, and practical. I believe in helping patients to understand the process of therapy.
