As a psychotherapist, I have experience working with individuals, adolescents, and families with histories of severe emotional disorders, complex trauma, depression and anxiety.

I received my Masters from Columbia University and trained at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. I am certified in the treatment of Eating Disorders as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I help people understand and become curious about themselves. I challenge the negative thinking that plays endlessly in our brains. I work to help people develop their strengths, their voice and to regain agency in their lives.

As a child of Indo-Caribbean immigrants, I am uniquely positioned to offer support to folks who exist in the in-betweens of cultures and lineages. My work is rooted in an understanding of systemic oppression; I strongly believe that it is not possible to consider healing outside the context of our external realities.
