As a licensed clinical psychologist, with over 20 years of experience, my aim is to create a safe, supportive environment for adults and children to explore their personal goals. We will work together within a psychodynamic and relational framework of guided self discovery and understanding. With your increased self knowledge you will become more equipped to develop strategies for coping and for making positive change.
What interactions trigger us? Why do we respond the way we do? We will think together about the impact of family history, genetics and neurobiology, to better understand what contributes to patterns in which we get stuck. We will notice when these patterns occur and work together to create change
With many years of child experience my professional expertise includes understanding and treating children and their families. Using a developmental approach with individualized techniques I help the child and parents understand and work through their challenges. Advising families on parenting practices is a key component of this work.
