Bonnie received an Award for Excellence from the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. She trains other psychotherapists. She leads writing groups, which have been profiled by The New York Times. She is on the Editorial Board of Psychoanalytic Perspectives, presents papers internationally, and her articles are published in professional journals.

Over the last 11 years, I have run writing groups for psychoanalysts in Manhattan. The New York Times' Style Section profiled one of my writing groups and wrote, "The six psychotherapists who meet on Friday mornings on the West Side of Manhattan in an office with a couch - of course - a box of tissues and a bouquet of peonies and red tulips, make up what may be the most nurturing and deeply connected creative writing group to arrive on the literary scene."

Dream Analysis

If you are interested in having an experience of group dreaming, you might be interested in a new group in the process of forming. It is a 12-week group dreaming analysis workshop, based on the work of Montague Ullman, where the group helps the dreamer deepen the experience of the dream within a safe and open environment. In doing the work, we listen for emerging self states, while catching parts of us waiting to be heard. I teach the Contemporary Dream class at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and run such a group during each class.
