The New Hope Mental Health Counseling Services is a group practice staffed by a mixed group of licensed clinicians trained to handle every area of life. We work with children who present with aggressive and disruptive behaviors, including ADHD, individuals involved in the criminal justice system, struggling with drug, recovery and family related problems. Our clients receives support for Anger Management, marriage, trauma, and parenting. Our clinicians utilize an eclectic approach to address your needs. We also offer medication therapy for ADHD, bipolar, anxiety and other mood disorders where needed.

As a child of Indo-Caribbean immigrants, I am uniquely positioned to offer support to folks who exist in the in-betweens of cultures and lineages. My work is rooted in an understanding of systemic oppression; I strongly believe that it is not possible to consider healing outside the context of our external realities. Nonetheless, I believe in helping folks find strength through a connection to the endurance of their lineages, within themselves and their relations, and through their spirituality. Muneera Zaidi, a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, works primarily with individuals seeking recovery and support to cope with mental health disorders, alcohol and other substance abuse issues. Muneera also offers couple's and family sessions for patients seeking to strengthen their relationships which are typically impacted when one is struggling to balance their life and emotions.
