Many of my clients are Law Enforcement, First Responders, Active Military, and Veterans who have been reluctant to begin therapy. My areas of specialty are anxiety & depression, trauma, alcohol/substance use, dual-diagnosis, and addressing the issues that result from these problems such as interpersonal and relationship issues, self esteem issues, and overall poor coping skills. My main focus for the past 25 years has been on Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment in group settings as well as Individual sessions. I work with adults, families, and couples. In addition to counseling individuals with issues of addiction, I also work with Adult Children of Alcoholics and Addicts (ACOA/COA) addressing the negative impact of growing up in an alcoholic household. Addiction does not affect just the individual using. Addiction affects the whole family. I do not work strictly with addiction.

He has vast experience working with people who are challenged by depression and/or anxiety and people who have a history of self-harm and suicidal ideation. David has experience and enjoys working with clients in overcoming sexual abuse/intimate partner violence, intergenerational and racial trauma within the Queer and LGBTQIA+ communities.
