How you get through a difficult time does matter. Insight oriented work is an incredibly powerful and meaningful process whereby you explore who you are, what you want, and how to get there. I have found that they may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or rocky relationships but they strive for peace, inner strength, loving relationships and a sense of purpose.
Many of my younger patients may have suffered traumas, but have shown resiliency and commitment to recovery to live a happy, loving life. As NYU faculty and a social worker for 15+ years in medical, foster care, psychiatric and school settings, I provide cutting-edge evidence based treatment.
My approach is warm, dynamic and insight-oriented. My post-graduate training in Family Systems and Cognitive Behavior Therapy inform my work.
