Hi, my name is Danielle and I am currently working as a licensed mental health counselor at AJS Mental Health Counseling. I have a masters degree from Northwestern University in clinical mental health counseling. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, thought disorders, personality disorders, family and relationship issues, LGBTQ+, bipolar disorders and trauma. I offer counseling services to individuals 16 and up. We can meet virtually or in-person.
I take an eclectic approach to counseling, pulling from a variety of different theories. My primary approach is client-centered with integrated cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic techniques. I fit my approach to the needs of my clients, offering flexible and client-specific counseling. Your needs are my priority.
