I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an integral part to the healing journey. I work hard at creating trust and safety with those that I work with by providing an honest, authentic, and nonjudgmental presence. It is my goal to accept whatever a person may bring to therapy while also seeing the possibility of change. I work with adults to help them navigate challenges along their journey to parenthood. I help them cope with the emotional and mental load of trying to conceive; manage feelings of grief, loss, anxiety, and depression; to heal from trauma; adjust to motherhood; and so much more.
During our work together, I make every effort to ensure that you feel seen, heard, appreciated, and understood. I partner with you in your healing process to restore and maintain your wellness. Together we identify the problem areas in your life and work towards finding balance and peace.
I utilize a trauma-informed and holistic approach to psychotherapy by incorporating various mind-body interventions including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
