Psychotherapy is an act of courage. Finding the right person to work with can take time. I will assist you with the process. I spend time answering questions you might have about psychotherapy and work to ensure that we develop a positive therapeutic alliance through empathy, compassion, respect, and care. I believe that psychotherapy should be a growth-enhancing process. Growth can be a slower process than we desire and is not always easy but afterwards, I hope that you have a greater understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I am most effective treating individuals who are seeking to make changes in their life, as well as are seeking insight into the underlying causes for their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I am most comfortable working with adults. I also work with couples and do family therapy.
