Since becoming a licensed Clinical Psychologist in over 15 years ago, I have had the privilege of working with teens and adults of many racial, religious, economic, and ethnic backgrounds, and with clients of varied sexual orientations and preferences. I use a customized blend of therapy approaches for each client, generally with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral techniques, to help my clients become their best selves. I specialize in working with clients who are struggling with relationship issues, depression, trauma, parenting, social issues, and stress, and take great care to provide a culturally sensitive therapy environment to all clients.
Working in a variety of professional settings, including private practice, community mental health centers, and residential treatment, has given me the opportunity to work clients with many different backgrounds and issues. I have enjoyed helping my clients create and reach their individual personal goals for growth and change.
The two years I spent living in Europe also deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by those who move to unfamiliar settings, and enhanced my respect for anyone who has made that move either by choice or necessity. I am a member of the New Jersey Psychological Association.
