With over 20 years' experience of working with children, adolescents, adults and families, I have seen it all. Beginning any new venture can be a difficult task, but I will help you through the process with empathy, humor and understanding. In my practice I have helped clients with a wide variety of issues, including managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning problems, social issues, divorce, self esteem and parenting. In my work with families, I pay special attention to the child or adolescent and their needs, while also focusing on parent guidance issues. I work closely with parents to help them adjust to their child's particular issues as well as helping them communicate with the schools.
I also provide the service of intellectual testing of children and adults. This information is often mandatory when requesting accommodations for standardized testing and can also aid in educational planning. I am available as a consultant to accompany parents to IEP meetings,including review of test reports and other documents.
