Dr. Dan Bates is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Kentucky who has been practicing since 2010. He has a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Arts in Ministry and Leadership from Western Seminary, a Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State University. In his counseling approach, Dr. Bates works from a cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) model, which focuses on the role of thoughts in psychological problems.

I am pledged toward collaborating with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in understanding their life choices with resources in school, work, and community. As collaborative partners, we can undertake short and long term solutions that can strengthen the client's physical and emotional health and best interest. By creating solutions, the client will be able to build and strengthen their motivation and success in their daily activities, interests, and relationships.
