Danville Counseling Center is dedicated to serving the emotional and mental health needs in our community. Our office is located in downtown Danville and houses ten qualified mental health professionals. Our staff specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, addiction and helping you recover from traumatic experiences through the use of progressive treatments including EMDR and TF-CBT. At Danville Counseling we believe in treating the whole person by coming to understand the stressors that are taking place and helping you build resiliency and coping skills to improve overall wellness.

I have worked with children and adults aged 5 and up with various disorders including substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, ODD, Bipolar, mood disorders, personality disorders, and those in the LGBTQ+ community. Have been in the role of Estill County Specialty Court Counselor as an advocate for individuals in Drug Court and recovery. My expertise in the mental health field stems from over two decades of experience with children, adolescents and adults in varying capacities. I have worked with individuals with severe mental illness and helped them achieve a quality of life and gain control over symptoms they were experiencing. I have worked with clients who experience both mental health and substance abuse disorders (dual diagnosis/co-occurring) which impact daily functioning and overall general mental health. It is important that a client be ready and motivated to make changes and do something different, so they can achieve a different result.

I assess my client's enviroment, resources and support to prepare a treatment program to help my client have the best outcome possible. I understand each client is an individual and has his or her own individual needs. I treat all client's with the respect and dignity they deserve.
