I assist clients in allowing themselves to be in relationships that are loving, supportive, and respectful; empowering themselves to see their value; healing the past; developing an internal calm and peace; finding their natural flow; trusting themselves to make good decisions; and learning how to regulate themselves in healthy ways.

Trauma is linked to anxiety, depression, and relationship problems (Bessel, 2021). We tend to think that trauma only happens to war veterans or victims of assault. However, being raised in an unpredictable home, difficult relationship with parents, or exposed to stress etc. can have a life-long impact. People can feel hesitant about seeking treatment for trauma because it can open a door to feeling overwhelmed. However, this is not the case with the therapy I provide, Somatic Experiencing, a therapy that takes years to be trained on.

I focus on careful assessment and helping those in need of clinical services using a variety of evidenced based approaches. In my practice, I use a variety of treatment modalities such as individual, couple, group, and family therapy depending on individual needs. I have much experience working with psychiatric and behavioral problems such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders and so on. Teaching individuals how to manage and cope with symptoms of grief, marital problems, family conflict, divorce, parenting issues, and other relational problems are additional areas of specialty.

Building and maintaining romantic relationships always comes with its own set of challenges; and no two relationships are exactly alike. Whether the relationship is new or more established, differences are inevitable and conflict will arise; everyone has their own baggage. I received a dual master's in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Clinical Psychophysiology at the College of Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences at Saybrook University. My practice integrates cognitive-behavioral approaches with art therapy, neuroscience, and mindfulness. Treatment plans are tailored to meet the client's individual needs.
