Anna Marchenko is a licensed mental health counselor with specialized training in trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), addiction, family counseling, and hypnotherapy. She earned her double Master's degree from Columbia University, New York. She continued her post-graduate education at International Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy and worked at Mount Sinai Hospital and CSEDNY of NY before going into full-time private practice. She provides psychotherapy in a variety of areas, including stress, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, adjustment, performance psychology, creative and work blocks, sexuality, and interpersonal issues.

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed therapist and qualified supervisor who works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My areas of expertise include relationship issues, child behavioral concerns, parent guidance/parenting support, oppositional defiance, boundary setting, anxiety, self-esteem, social difficulties, and life transitions such as becoming parents, growing families, separation, and divorce.

I work with career-oriented adults to resolve anxieties and depression, relationship issues, stress and help parents with challenging adolescents and children. Too much responsibility and stress at home, school or workplace often leads to strained relationships, isolation, loss of motivation or debilitating fears. I help people and families affected by anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavior challenges, defiance and anger, divorce or trauma. I've worked with children, teens and young adults with emotional disturbances, behavior problems, substance abuse, self-harm, or personality development issues, and helped couples reconnect.
