Often times we face obstacles or have setbacks that may get in the way of reaching our fullest potential or living a more satisfying life which then takes a toll on our emotional health. My goal as a clinician is to empower clients, by fostering growth and change in order to help them live a more fulfilling and satisfying life. I believe in working collaboratively with clients to develop insight and the necessary tools and skills to help manage their own emotional health. My therapeutic approach is best characterized by warmth, flexibility, openness, and cultural sensitivity.
I have extensive clinical experience and training working with individuals from diverse backgrounds struggling with identity development, relational problems, family of origin issues, trauma, bereavement issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety and stress management. I particularly enjoy working with adults, couples, and families.
I also have extensive supervisory experience with master's and doctoral level clinicians, and I am available for clinical supervision and consultation. I am primarily available during the weekend for appointments.
