Hi, my name is Laura Amelia and I am a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I am Dominican and moved to Miami when I was 10 yrs old. I have a wide variety of experiences working with different types of mental health issues but have the most experience helping people who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders or have unresolved trauma. I'm a bilingual/bi-cultural (English/ Spanish) counselor with 25 years of experience working with individuals, groups, and families addressing life challenges: depression, anxiety, anger management, panic disorder, trauma, PTSD, career challenges, parenting difficulties, chronic low self-esteem, family relations and relationship difficulties.
