I work with individuals, couples, and groups whose lives have been disrupted by anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, traumatic events, substance abuse, and sexual addiction. My goal is to accept clients unconditionally, where they are, as they are. I provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere in which my clients can explore, process and find freedom from the issues that hinder them from fulfilling their God-given roles. To best meet the needs of my clients, I use a variety of modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), DBT, Somatic focused, and Mindfulness strategies.

Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who completed his graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary in Counseling and his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in Psychology. Allen uses key principles from CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy to partner with clients to develop new systems and narratives to achieve their therapeutic goals. You will find a safe nonjudgmental environment to process and reflect on your situation, learn healthy ways to better cope, and the accountability to implement new skills and tools that lead to a more fulfilling life.
