As a Licensed Mental Counselor, I have worked in several different levels of care ranging from outpatient services, in-home therapy, residential and partial hospitalization. My experience has provided me with extensive knowledge in crisis management and effective treatment with a wide range of issues such as eating disorders, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, OCD, impulsive behavior, trauma, self-esteem and body image issues. I currently provide individual therapy, group therapy and family consultation to address individual behaviors and family dynamics that lead to dysfunction.
I have received training in several treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Psychodrama. I have also completed foundational training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
My specialty includes adolescents and their families. As a particular area of interest, I am passionate about working with clients from the LGBTQIA+ community and am trained in providing LGBTQIA+ affirmative care.

Groups
Teen DBT Skills Group
Our fully adherent DBT program offers skills groups for tweens and teens as well as for parents looking to facilitate growth and change. The standard DBT curriculum is a 90-minute group weekly for 5-6 months and will include learning a variety of strategies such as principles of behavior management, validation, distress tolerance skills, emotion regulation skills and interpersonal effectiveness. Phone coaching is also available both for parent and teen as part of the adherent DBT program. Parents and teens who complete this program report having more confidence in managing their relationships as well as managing their emotions and behaviors.
