I offer evening and weekend hours. I provide individual therapy within a non-judgmental environment for people who may be feeling depressed, worried, anxious, dejected, overwhelmed, angry, tired, ashamed, self-critical or defeated. We will examine what's currently bothering you, as well as events in your past that may contribute to your current struggles. I will work with you to identify thoughts, emotions, or internal dilemmas that may be keeping you "stuck" or blocked from your goals. I sometimes introduce clinical hypnosis as a component of treatment for symptom relief or self-exploration.
Clients who come to me receive feedback on their concerns, assistance in sorting out their emotions and thoughts, and are offered new ways of coping with and overcoming personal obstacles. Psychotherapy is a collaborative process, and I will work at your pace to help you achieve relief and control.
