I can be both goal-oriented with a laid-back/casual demeanor. I have had previous patients who are veterans, law enforcement or first responders. As well, I have many patients who identify as LGBTQ+ and I have formal training in working with this community. During our sessions, I'll collaborate with you to identify what you'd like to achieve, and together, we'll set specific goals to facilitate lasting change.
Many of my patients have enjoyed reaching their respective therapeutic goals, and a few may express surprise they were able to. Several patients tend to express improved insight to themselves at the end of treatment. Some patients have mentioned feeling/being comfortable with me because I encourage/demonstrate authenticity in sessions.
