My life and work experience has given me tools and awareness in how to process experiences that have wounded us. Anxiety, grief, loss, traumatic issues are memories that we relieved through our thoughts, emotions, behaviors and dreams. Sharing in a safe environment the hardships we endure can make us understand ourselves and replace those memories to more realistic and compassionate beliefs. I provide counseling in English and Spanish using different therapeutic tools.
I help clients on issues of adjustment due to different situations and challenges. I have found that grief comes after trauma, death, injustice, abuse bringing along symptoms such as anxiety, addiction, sleep disturbance, depression and so on. Talking and feeling understood with respect and empathy helps to heal.
I have experienced serious issues of loss and grief during my lifetime and I have helped during the years of my career as a counselor to overcome, accept, detach and let go with love and wisdom.
