From day one, I strive to create a comfortable environment in which my clients can feel at ease. I deeply respect the courage it takes to start therapy and am committed to providing an experience that resonates with you. I am known for my warmth, patience, curiosity, and energy. Together, we will explore ways to proactively approach your goals and makes changes to the challenges you are experiencing. I am deeply committed to supporting people who have experienced trauma as well as those who are dealing with challenges surrounding pregnancy, infertility, birth, loss, the postpartum period, and the transitions to parenthood.
I specialize in work with teenagers, adults, and new parents who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal/postnatal challenges. I work primarily from a trauma-informed and anti-oppression framework utilizing a Somatic approach, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Internal Family Systems.
There are several ways of working with me, including virtual and in-person options. I offer free 30-minute initial consultations for us to have the opportunity to connect, discuss goals, and ensure we're a "good fit" prior to scheduling future sessions. www.alpenglownm.com
