I work with clients to develop deeper insights into thought and behavior patterns and to help them find strategies to improve their relationships. My passion lies in helping individuals manage their mental health and helping couples manage mental health struggles, gender transitions, and polyamory. In Towson, I work with my four-legged partner, a samoyed therapy dog named Eir, who provides comfort and support and takes an active role in play therapy with our younger clients. In Bel Air, I work with horses of Bay Meadow Farm to provide equine-assisted psychotherapy.
I approach therapy dynamically, helping patients to gain insight into maladaptive patterns that have been causing suffering. I also incorporate aspects of animal-assisted therapy, mindfulness, dialectical and cognitive-behavioral therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and play therapy with patients based on their needs.
I strive to provide a warm and supportive atmosphere for clients to process their difficulties and find paths forward into a more fulfilling and empowered life. Eir and I would love to help you start your journey to a happier you! I see clients in Towson and Bel Air as well as virtually.
