Many of us go through periods in life where things feel heavy and seem uncertain. We can do much more than we believe, especially when we feel off. Mental health symptoms can alter our perception and understanding of ourselves, others, and the world. I understand that meeting with a stranger to talk about life can feel uncomfortable. I strive to build a welcoming therapeutic space for clients of all ages. My niche is working with neurodivergent adolescents & adults!
I have learned that during difficult periods, external supports can be beneficial. Therapy sessions are tailored toward the individual as everyone has different needs. I utilize techniques from CBT, EMDR, mindfulness strategies, and a person-centered approaches. I also incorporate expressive arts, animal assisted modalities, and walk and talk therapy.
Finding a therapist that is a “good fit” can seem impossible. My overall goal is creating a completely judgement free zone where you feel heard, seen, and safe. If you are interested in starting your journey feel free to reach out! I look forward to meeting you and helping you get started.
