I consider myself a "clinical opportunist" with an educational, brain-based, and feminist approach to therapy. I value providing clients with tangible skills to manage their mental health while also providing education that's aligned with my clinical mindset & values. I strive to find a balance in my sessions; I want my clients to feel autonomy in the direction of their treatment while incorporating structured therapeutic interventions. I possess an empathetic yet directive approach with the hope of working collaboratively with my clients to address their therapeutic needs.
I value providing individualized care as my clients will have diverse needs. I spend most of my time working in the areas of neurodivergence (autism, ADHD), eating disorders/feeding disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, psychosis, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, women's issues, young adult issues, and parent support/education.
My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and empowering environment for all clients. I see you as the expert on you- I want to support you in ways YOU want to grow. At the same time, I believe "nothing changes if nothing changes". I empower my clients and hold them accountable to strive for the positive change they have identified they want in their life.
