Announcement icon In the interest of your health and safety, I am currently utilizing Zoom, Facetime and the telephone for your support and care.
Our rapport, and discovering what is deeply meaningful and valuable to you will be the foundation of our therapeutic bond. My primary goal is to support your happiness and success by understanding your most cherished beliefs, and what you hold dear in your heart. I will gently challenge you when I see patterns that are not supporting your well being. I will simultaneously encourage you to draw from your many gifts and strengths. I commit to utilizing interventions that are effective, empowering, evidence based and that promote self compassion. I truly understand how vulnerable it feels to seek help, and I commend your willingness.
EMDR is a client driven and evidence based therapy designed to heal the pain of difficult or traumatic events and experiences. As we target, reprocess and heal pains of the past, a new and more authentic self emerges. EMDR therapy is also proven effective in the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictive disorders, and relationship stressors.
I bring over 30 years of knowledge and experience to our work together. This experience has been diverse, with a sample including Addiction & Mental Health in residential care, healing Loss and Grief & Reinventing oneself, Executive Functioning issues with Young Adults and their families, Yoga therapy and Mindfulness based practices.
