You're tired of performing your life, instead of experiencing it. You're ready to take up space, to make decisions that feel deeply aligned, to put energy into into people who show up for you in return, and to relinquish the ever-moving goalposts of perfection. You're ready to learn on a cellular level what has always been true: you are worthy of meaningful connection. You're ready to permit yourself to playfulness, creativity, intimacy, joy, and rest. Either individually or as part of a couple, many New Yorkers have come to work with me feeling a lot like you.
My brand of therapy is about coming home: to mind, to body, and to each other. My approach is psychodynamic, relational, somatic, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ allied. I am Level 1 EFT trained, and my work is deeply informed by IFS, ACT, ERP, and DBT. I also have years of experience in the corporate world, which greatly supports my clinical perspective.
If you're open to it, I have an exercise for you right now: 1) Take a deep breath, let your jaw relax 2) Acknowledge the parts of you that might feel overwhelmed and afraid 3) Ask yourself if my words have felt resonant, hopeful, & trustworthy. And finally, make this choice from a place of personal power. Whenever you're ready - I'm right here.
