Alan Winder
Psychologist, PhD
My therapeutic style is very solution-oriented: I help you identify specific goals and develop the tools you need to achieve them. To do this, I use Insight-oriented, Cognitive, and Behavioral techniques: Insight-oriented - helping you understand the emotional patterns that cause you to behave in ways that are harmful,) Cognitive - identifying the thoughts that are the result of these emotional patterns, and Behavioral - effectively replacing these vicious cycles with more healthy behavioral patterns. These tools allow you to build the skills you need to feel increased calm, improved mood, and live a more fulfilling and happy live.
Dr. Winder is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who has worked in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, outpatient treatment centers, and private practice.
