I welcome your interest and courage in looking for a psychotherapist. Our work together will help you explore, confront and resolve your difficulties. Often we are not aware of what causes our difficulties and that makes it hard to change. We will engage collaboratively to awaken your curiosity and awareness in order to be better able to choose how you feel and act. I work from psychoanalytic, interpersonal and relational perspectives with different people with a range of challenges in living. I have particular expertise in providing psychotherapy and support to Gay, Lesbian and Transgender people, especially those who are or come from the Orthodox Jewish community. I also have training and expertise in working with those who struggle with eating disorders, relationship, couple and working job issues, as well anxiety and depression.

My knowledge of sexual and gender development and identity helps me provide insight into being lesbian, gay or transgender in today’s rapidly changing environments. That knowledge, combined with a thorough understanding of Orthodox Judaism, enables me to help you explore the complex issues of being lesbian, gay or transgender in the Orthodox Jewish community. Additional training in working with eating disorders together with my close relationships with experts in nutrition and psychopharmacology enables me to better help you address these challenges.

I have a flexible sliding scale fee structure. I welcome email, text and phone inquiries. My office is conveniently located at Columbus Circle.
