Drawing on over four decades of experience, I provide insight-oriented psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups. My therapy style focuses on past and present issues with an eye toward helping my patients lead freer, more fulfilled lives. My approach to treatment includes empirically validated, theoretically grounded approaches, with an emphasis on exploring the underlying emotions that fuel behaviors. My aim is to help my patients navigate their inner worlds, improve emotional well-being and develop the capacity to engage in healthy relationships. By empowering patients to better understand themselves, patients develop tools to live authentic and satisfying lives.
Psychotherapy helps patients get to the root of their difficulties. My role is to guide patients as they understand ways to be more self-aware, cope with difficult emotions, improve their moods, gain control, feel connected, develop skills to handle future problems, and live happier, more fulfilled lives.
