Aloha. I'm Alan R. Spector, LCSW, a psychotherapist in Hawaii dedicated to supporting adults navigating a range of life's challenges. As Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Equality Hawaii, the state's former LGBT advocacy organization, I am well-versed in the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals. I've received awards for my work with the LGBT community from both the National Association of Social Workers Hawaii Chapter (2012) and Mental Health America of Hawaii (2019).
