About
I have worked with clients that have a variety of issues. I am licensed as both a mental health and a substance use provider. I offer a goal oriented treatment using an integrative therapeutic approach. I have worked in several different settings including Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitals where the goal was stabilization to Detoxification Facilities. I have also worked at various other levels of care, which include Partial Hospital Programs and Intensive Out Patient. I enjoy working with both adult and adolescent populations.
I have worked in a range of settings including adolescent and adult behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment. I have extensive experience in both anxiety disorders and trauma. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and other research-supported approaches.
I am currently licensed in both RI and CT. I would be interested in assisting clients with modifying their coping skills and assisting them with the development of more healthy adaptive coping skills.
