I have 23 years of training and experience working with adults who struggle with low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, anxiety, depression, bipolar, and anger. I'm also very experienced with clients working on transitions such as going to college, new job, marriage, starting a family, a divorce, or coping with a past or recent trauma. I've worked for many years in drug treatment too. I think clients are looking for a way to gain insight and awareness of how challenges effect their thinking, and want to learn new skills to improve how they feel and function in the world.
I provide a comfortable space to discuss what's been going on, assess what I see happening, and show you how to use some skills to improve awareness of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be obstacles to feeling good about things. I utilize a variety of techniques and like to do a combination of talk therapy and skill-building activities.
Sometimes it helps to have another person hear what's been going on without any fear of judgement or blame. We also need to be taken seriously when times get rough. I have devoted my career of 23+ years towards helping clients learn about themselves, and how they can feel more comfortable in their own skin.
