I also have a Masters of Science degree in Community Counseling from the University of South Alabama.I have experience working with substance abuse, personality disorders, in children and adolescents, adults of all ages with depression and anxiety. I specialize in working with children and families who have experienced trauma. I have been trained in child -centered play therapy including sand tray therapy. My counseling style is an eclectic approach blending Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, and Client-Centered therapy. I also have advocacy experience in helping families locate and utilize resources necessary for helping them get back on their feet after experiencing trauma.

Dr. Benjamin Hill is a Neuropsychologist who provides evaluation services for individuals with ADHD, learning disorders, traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, and other neurologic and psychiatric conditions that may affect brain functioning and has published research in these areas. Dr. Hill is a part of the Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS) team, a private interdisciplinary behavioral health practice that offers a broad range individualized and empirically-based psychiatric, evaluation, and therapeutic services. I am a family medicine doctor with experience taking care of the mental health needs of both adults and children . I am passionate about providing affordable, convenient care. I try to find the unique balance in each patient between medical and behavioral/therapeutic management and tailor the treatment to each patient based on their needs and desires.
