There are no two people that walk into therapy with the same story, which is why I work with a wide range of individuals and concerns. I see teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and times when life simply feels overwhelming. I have experience working with individuals facing mood disorders, personality disorders, and more complex mental health concerns. Whether you’re struggling with something new or have felt stuck for years, you don’t have to have the right words or all the answers to begin.

I help women and couples navigate anxiety, depression, perinatal disorders, burnout, disconnection, identity shifts, communication struggles, and emotional load while making room for softness and personal needs without shame.
Who are you and what do you want when you are not being strong, carrying the invisible load, or keeping everyone together? I help women and couples navigate transitions that reshape relationships: adulthood, commitment, marriage, deciding whether to have children, identity loss, motherhood, anxiety, and life after kids. Maybe you are grieving life before motherhood. Maybe betrayal happened, resentment is growing, labor feels unequal, intimacy has changed, or you are tired of having the same argument. You may have just outgrown the version of yourself or the relationship you started with. Here is where I help you change the cycle.

I work with women navigating anxiety, perfectionism, identity shifts, and the quiet pressure to hold everything together. Many of my clients are mothers, creatives, or high-functioning women who appear capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves internally. They’re often in a season of transition—sometimes obvious, sometimes more internal—where the way they’ve been operating no longer feels sustainable. There may be a sense of feeling stuck, questioning what they want, or wanting more fulfillment, but not knowing how to get there.

My specialty is helping women tap into their inner strength and wisdom during life transitions, as well as treating Postpartum Depression/Anxiety, self-esteem issues, trauma and OCD.
Now Accepting New Clients: My passion is helping women to regain a feeling of control and authorship in their lives. Too often as women, we expend so much energy trying to be the best worker/mother/partner we can be and end up putting our own needs at the bottom of the list. We may struggle with disempowering beliefs about ourself that we can't seem to break free from that undercut our true worth. We typically only come to therapy when we're in a great deal of pain; though choosing to directly confront and sit with our pain can be difficult, it also has the potential to be truly transformative!

I have a variety of training to include trauma, child and adolescent, problematic sexual behavior, addiction, and perinatal mental health.
There's an energy in your body that never seems to settle. This isn't an exciting feeling. This restlessness is daunting. Negative thoughts plague you day and night. Prayer brings you some relief, but it's only a matter of time before the mind takes over once again. You've become reactive. The irritability is exhausting. Your thoughts keep you up at night and the sleeplessness fans the intrusive thoughts into a flame. It's a vicious cycle. You're not the best version of yourself. You're craving tranquility, rest, and contentment for your life. You're ready to find your peace.

Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum Therapists
What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.

When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.

How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviors. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.

Are there specific medications for postpartum depression?
In 2019, the FDA approved the first medication designed to treat postpartum depression. The medication is called brexanolone and is delivered intravenously by a medical professional over the course of a few days. However, typical antidepressants, which are more accessible, can also treat postpartum depression. The disorder is often best treated through a combination of medication and therapy.
