There are things that happen in life that we try to overcome on our own but realize it has become too much to handle alone. You may be experiencing work related stress, conflict in your relationships, shame, grief, anxiety, depression, or a trauma. As a Therapist I want to support you heal those parts of yourself that hold you back. My goal is to support you in navigating, refining or developing skills to improve and enhance your life. I want to help restore, renew and heal yourself, relationships, life or work. Psychotherapy can be a difficult process; It is important to feel comfortable and safe as you go on this journey.
I specialize in trauma and I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist. I also work with couples to learn to manage, emotions, conflict and strengthen their relationship using evidenced based approaches such as the Gottman Method and Emotion Focused Therapy.
Embracing the belief that we "must reach back to reclaim that which is lost in order to move forward," I want to remove the shame and stigma of therapy. I see therapy as an opportunity to support people of diverse backgrounds and cultures to explore and heal all parts of themselves, their relationships and community. Feel free to call or send an email today.
