Hi! I'm Akilah Peters, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Cerritos California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, stress, and trauma using person-centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy that fosters healing and showing up as your authentic self.
My approach to therapy is most supportive to adults who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, work-related stress, depression, navigating entrepreneurship, parenting, life transitions such as empty nesting, co-parenting, friendships, careers and living their best life and those looking to break generational patterns.
We will begin the journey of building trust and discussing what has been on your mind and heart that prompted you to seek support and that impacts how you present yourself to the world.
