Every client is unique and is the expert on their life. I believe therapy is about becoming more self aware, making the unconscious, conscious, learning acceptance, and finding meaning in one's life. I also work challenge my clients, make them think, but in a supportive and non-judgmental way. I want my clients to become the best version of themselves and live their life to the fullest.
As a Licensed Profesisonal Counselor, your mental health is important to having a quality and fulfilling life. Therapy is difficult, challenging, but overall rewarding. I've been practicing for the past 3 years working in a residential setting and PHP level of care treating substance abuse, process addiction's, personality disorder's and severe mental health
I always start the first session off with "What do you want to get out of these sessions?" Through that I challenge client's to think through open ended questions, build insight, find direction in their life and learn to love themselves.
