Do you feel overwhelmed by emotions but struggle to put them into words? Maybe you cry or panic instead of expressing what’s truly inside. Perhaps you replay the past, wishing you could do things differently with the wisdom you have now. You might feel unheard or invalidated because communication feels difficult or even unsafe. As a POC therapist, I understand what it means to suppress emotions for family’s sake and follow silent, suffocating expectations. Together, we’ll explore how these unspoken rules shaped you and develop tools to express emotions that once felt impossible to name.
Finding a therapist can feel awkward, and that’s normal. But by being here, you’ve already taken a powerful first step. As a trauma-focused therapist, I help clients process how life’s experiences shape their well-being. Our goal isn’t just to “cope” but to build healthier relationships with yourself and others. I work with emerging and young adults to navigate anxiety, depression, family and generational trauma, inner child and shadow work, codependency, boundaries, self-esteem, relationships, and cultural identity. Using strengths-based therapy, including DBT, CBT, ACT, and Shadow Work, we’ll explore and validate emotions that were never given space before.
