In my approach to counseling, I envision my client and I as fellow passengers in a car. You decide the destination, the route to get there, and how fast we get there. My job is to suggest directions when we get lost, and point out alternatives along the way.
I work with individuals ages 17 and up on a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationships, life changes, grief and loss, sexuality and identity, careers and job stress, leadership coaching, assertiveness, hoarding, and self esteem.
It takes courage to allow one’s self to be vulnerable with another person, and I appreciate my clients trust in me to help them achieve their goals. I am a fierce advocate for my clients and celebrate them when they achieve personal successes.
