Hi, I am a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan. I received my Master's Degree from Wayne State University and have been practicing for 23 years. I support children and caregivers in addressing a range of issues that may be impacting their relationships. I help parents and children create the relationships that they want for themselves. I also support adults who are struggling in their relationships with partners, friends, co-workers, and even their relationship with themself.
In our first session, we will conduct brief introductions, and I will explain my approach to therapy and what a typical session typically like. I will gather a lot of information to better understand what is bringing you in for therapy. We will begin discussing the goals you have for therapy and the skills you might want to develop during our time together.
Having worked with relationships for the past 24 years, I have experienced all kinds of dynamics. I have developed a style of being curious, non judgmental and supportive in therapy. I use the therapeutic relationship as a safe space to explore past and current relationships to support clients in creating healthy relationships for the present and the future.
